Pinterest Pin Preview is a free visual planning tool that shows how your Pin may appear on a Pinterest-style pin detail screen, home feed, search results, and profile grid. Customize a title, description, account details, board, and destination link, then add your own vertical image or video.
Switch between mobile and desktop views to check how your Pin communicates at different sizes. Previews are illustrative: Pinterest may crop media, arrange cards, or change its interface differently across devices and over time.
Enter the Pin title, description, creator name, and website URL. Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP image, or select Video Pin to use a local MP4 or WebM video.
Choose Pin Detail, Home Feed, Search Results, or Profile Grid. Use the crop guide to understand how a long image could look in a smaller card.
Check the layout in mobile and desktop sizes, select a light or dark appearance, and download a PNG mockup for review.
Pin Detail gives your image and description more space. In the Home Feed, your Pin competes with other vertical cards, so a recognizable subject and readable design are especially useful.
Search Results place a Pin among visually similar ideas. Profile Grid lets you assess whether its cover feels consistent with other content and your creator identity.
A 2:3 vertical image, such as 1000 × 1500 pixels, is a practical starting point for many standard Pins. Taller images may be shortened in feeds, and actual display rules can change. Keep important text and subjects away from edges, especially on smaller grid cards.
The crop guide is approximate, not a guarantee of Pinterest's exact cropping. Video Pins may display differently depending on playback status and placement.
